Summer Exhibition Success

Thursday, September 20th, 2007

The opening of the Group’s Summer exhibition was a lovely occasion with family, friends and invited guests in a beautiful new exhibition space at Liexlip Library.

Emer Martin, published novelist and member of the group, opened the exhibition with some very interesting, and literary reflections on members’ artistic expressions and reasons for being involved in art.
Some members of the group had chosen not to take part in this exhibition due to pressures of work and family.
6 members exhibited a total of 33 works of art of which 10 was sold. Commissions were also received.
